We just spent 2 nights in Colorado Springs<\/a> so that Vale could get her 2nd Pfizer shot yesterday. Good thing we decided to spend the night here because it snowed last night and would have been hard to drive very far after she got the shot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today we have decided to skip Rocky Mountain National Park<\/a> so that we can make the drive through the mountains to Grand Junction<\/a>. The goal is to see Moab, UT<\/a> tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While I am a little sad to not see Rocky Mountain Park, I think it will be for the best overall. The park is something to see in the summer when you can spend a few days hiking the trails. Because we wouldn’t even have a full day, and the weather for us is not the best, making the difficult mountain drive to Grand Junction is overall the safest and best choice. C’est la vie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
