After a few days in the craziness of New Orleans, it’s quite a change to go a few miles north into the country in Mississippi. We drove 4 hours today and arrived in the place of my birth, Columbus, MS. Well, not quite. I was born on the Air Force Base nearby, but I don’t have military credentials so we won’t try to go there this time. Still, we do know a few people in the area and it will be nice to wander a bit and see a few places that I remember from the 3 months I spent here over the summer after High School. Yes, that’s the entire amount of time I spent in the place where I was born. Well, if you don’t count the first 6 months of my life before we moved. I don’t remember much of that, so I don’t count it.
Anyway, for the website, things are moving right along. Signed up for Google AdSense today and am starting to learn how all of that stuff works. Yes, still a complete newbie, but I’ve been learning and at least I have a semi-stable design. I was also able to add my wife’s Instagram feed a couple days ago. Not too bad for an old dog, eh?
Now I just need to figure out how to create the Header, Footer, and sidebar. Ug! Soo many pieces. . . .
